Patch Notes - v0.1.2
Hey adventurers! Another small update for Mythscroll is live, bringing some polish to your journeys and a few handy features based on your feedback. Here’s what’s new:
Resting & Immersion Improvements
-
Resting at campsites now fades to black and back, matching the experience of resting in the wild and in cities.
-
Being swept back to shore by ocean currents now also includes a fade transition for better visual feedback and immersion.
New Potion Tier: Full Restoratives!
-
Added Full Health Potions and Full Mana Potions. These powerful brews restore your health or mana completely, no matter your max stat.
Merchant Update
-
The traveling Consumables Merchant has been split into two specialists:
-
A Food Merchant who focuses on meals and edible buffs.
-
A Potion Merchant offering a range of restorative and magical potions.
-
Death Text Refinement
-
Death messages now usually include the specific cause of death.
Example: Instead of just “You died,” you’ll now see “You were killed by the bandit.”
Bug Fixes
-
Fixed an issue where enemies with no gold would say “They gave you 0 gold.” Now it’ll more accurately say “They didn’t have anything to give you.”
-
Fixed a bug where eating poisoned food that reduced your HP to 0 didn’t kill you as it should. Poison is now properly lethal. Be careful out there!
Thanks as always for playing Mythscroll! If you enjoy the demo, don’t forget to wishlist the full game on Steam!
